Tim Harwill image courtesy Tracy Kolenchuk Born into a large working poor family from the ridge country of the Manitoba Interlake district in west-central Canada, Tim Harwill began sculpting a highly personalized blend of countrified roots music before the on-set of adult life while at the feet of an assortment of musical brethren. Now, with lost years of club and festival touring and an ever-extending catalogue of original tunes, this Alberta-based 12-string troubadour delivers an authentic acoustic sound that remains unabashedly rooted in the past while enthusiastically embracing the here and now. This is true country, from hard and fast to soft and painful, strictly the soul-baring-ly real thing, with no filler.
